In August the maximum values of temperature climbed up to 40 degrees of Celsius scale on the first and last day.
In the meantime long lasting intense rainfalls and thunderstorms affected central mainland and mainly central parts of Evia island on the 9th of month.
Specifically in Evia the huge amounts of precipitation caused ruinous floods with the tragic result of human losses and terrible havoc. ..
