HNMS Mission

The Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS) was founded in 1931 under the Ministry of Aviation and its mission was to cover all the meteorological and climatological needs of our country. Today, according to the law in force, the HNMS is a National Service under the subordination of MoD and the auspices of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff.
