CLIMATIC BULLETIN

January was extremely hot at New Year's Day when maximum values reached the records of last fifty years over central-south Greece.
Also it gave heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms in the middle of month, with floods mainly over Creta island (17-18/1).
Contrary to that, total frost recorded over Northern mainland from 23/1 to 26/1.
